Over the past weeks, the Hungarian low-cost airline announced an expansion in London Gatwick and the Baltic States, several new bases, Dortmund as its first base in Germany and domestic routes in Italy. And now it has announced that it will offer domestic flights in Norway. Wizz Air is therefore stationing two Airbus A320 in Oslo.
Four daily flights from Oslo to Bergen
From November 5, the airline will operate four daily flights from the Norwegian capital to Bergen and Tromsø. Twice a day the low-cost airline will connect Oslo with Trondheim. Wizz Air is thus directly competing with Norwegian and SAS. Both airlines are suffering heavily from the Coronavirus crisis. Norway's regional airline Wideroe is also gaining a new competitor.
