Die beiden Fluggesellschaften geben die nächste Phase ihrer Partnerschaft namens Northeast Alliance bekannt. Im Rahmen der Allianz wird Jetblue sieben neue Ziele ab New York und/oder Boston aufnehmen:
- San Antonio International Airport (SAT) - New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) + Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), Oktober 2021
- San Pedro Sula, Honduras’ Ramón Villeda Morales International Airport (SAP) - New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), Dezember 2021
- Puerto Vallarta, Mexicos Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport (PVR) - New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), erstes Quartal 2022
- Kansas City International Airport (MCI) - New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) + Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), zweites Quartal 2022
- Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE) - New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) + Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), zweites Quartal 2022
- Vancouver International Airport (YVR) - New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) + Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) (saisonal), Sommer 2022
- Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) - Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) (saisonal), Sommer 2022
Jetblue kündigt außerdem Wachstumspläne am Flughafen La Guardia (LGA) an, die durch die Northeast Alliance mit American Airlines ermöglicht werden. Bis zum Ende dieses Jahres plant die Airline dort mehr als zwei Dutzend tägliche Abflüge und will diese Zahl bis zum Sommer 2022 mit mehr als 50 täglichen Abflügen mehr als verdoppeln. Weiterhin ist im Rahmen der Partnerschaft die Einführung von mehr als 40 zusätzlichen Codeshare-Routen geplant.
