In 2012, SF Airlines' fleet only had ten aircraft. The air freight subsidiary of the large Chinese courier service SF Express then pursued a rapid expansion. Last year, China's first private cargo airline received its fiftieth aircraft, a Boeing 757.
Now, again a Boeing 757-200F will Be Shung Feng Airlines‘ 60th aircraft, according to local media reports. It is the second freighter that SF Airlines is receiving this year. Its fleet currently consists of 33 Boeing 757, 17 Boeing 737, 8 Boeing 767 and two Boeing 747.
Jumbos fly to Germany
SF Airlines focuses its route network on domestic routes with a few exceptions. Above all, the increasing privatisation of the Chinese parcel business is driving the airline's growth. But the airline is also exploring the intercontinental market: With its Boeing 747 flown in in 2019, it has been flying to Frankfurt-Hahn Airport in Germany for almost a year now.
