SPARFELL is a family-owned company operating in business aviation. We operate a fleet of more than 20 business jets, and to complement the company’s growth, we are looking for an experienced Flight Operations Compliance Monitoring Manager to join our team in Vienna.
Compliance Monitoring Manager – Flight Operations
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the administration and maintenance of the compliance monitoring function
- Maintaining the Compliance Monitoring Manual up to date in line with aviation standards
- Ensure that the compliance monitoring programme is properly implemented, maintained and continually reviewed
- Responsible for the timely scheduling of audits according to the audit plan
- Ensuring the independence and objectivity of internal auditors
- Monitor the recording, implementation, completion and effectiveness of the corrective and preventive actions
- Provide training in connection with the Compliance Management System
- Review of changes to procedures
- Support the Civil Aviation Authority during audits
Your profil
- Extensive and relevant experience in a compliance monitoring function
- Holds an auditing techniques certification or qualification
- Has previous experience in conducting audits and inspections
- Knowledge of aviation regulations, in particular European Commission regulations, AMCs and GMs
- Knowledge of IS-BAO standards
- Minimum five years of practical experience in flight operations, including experience in operational management or other operational oversight functions (e.g. compliance, training, safety)
- Ability to communicate well in English in both oral and written formats
- Based in Vienna or willing to relocate.
