To earn some money, several airlines offer sightseeing flights during the Coronavirus crisis. For Lufthansa, this is not an option.

Lufthansa aircraft will not fly to nowhere.
Relieving passengers’ wish to fly despite the Coronavirus crisis – that’s made possible with flights to nowhere. Airlines from Taiwan, Japan, Brunei and Australia sell tickets for flights with the same origin and destination. Singapore Airlines had planned a similar campaign, but decided against it. Instead, it offers passengers the opportunity to dine inside of a grounded Airbus A380.
Lufthansa does not want to know about such sightseeing flights from A to A. The airline is not even considering to generate revenue this way, a spokesperson told aeroTELEGRAPH. «For environmental reasons, such flights are not planned in the Lufthansa Group».
