Man climbs onto wing while plane prepares for takeoff

A Boeing 737 was waiting at Lagos airport for take-off clearance when suddenly a man climbed onto the plane. he even had luggage with him.

The pilots of flight ZQ2311 to Port Harcourt were waiting for their takeoff clearance on Friday morning (July 19). The Air Azman Boeing 737-300 had already taxied to the runway at Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos. It was then that the captain spotted a man running towards their aircraft. He switched off the engines immediately.

The unknown man, carrying a small piece of hand luggage, began to walk around the plane. Then he climbed onto the left wing. Air Azman confirms the incident. Some passengers panicked because they suspected a terrorist act. The man was later arrested. His motive remains unknown.
