TAAG Angola Airlines shows off new livery

The national airline of Angola is expanding with six De Havilland Canada Dash 8. With the new aircraft TAAG introduces a new livery.

TAAG Angola Airlines has ordered six of the turboprop aircraft. The first De Havilland Canada Dash 8-400 of TAAG Angola Airlines arrived in Luanda on Monday (June, 29). The national airline of the African state wants to strengthen its domestic network with the new planes, which are leased from Longview Aviation Capital.

With the new planes, TAAG is introducing a new livery. The colors will not change. But the lines along the fuselage are finer, and the giant sable antelope as a trademark on the tail appears larger. «We want this modernity to symbolize a new TAAG, a more modern TAAG, with a new attitude towards customers,» explained CEO Rui Carreira to the newspaper Jornal de Angola.
